Directions to Minor Hall

DON'T MISS THE FREE PARKING AND FREE SHUTTLE! Free parking is available in our lot which is located between the California Memorial Stadium and the Kleeburger athletic field. The lot is open Monday through Saturday for patient parking. Parking attendants are present Monday through Friday. Please inform the attendant that you are participating in the diabetes study. The attendant will direct you to the free shuttle that will take you down the hill to the front door of the clinic. On Saturdays, patients are asked to drive down to the clinic to obtain a parking permit and return to the lot for parking. Please make sure you park in a designated OPT spot. On Sundays, patients are permitted to park adjacent to the eye clinic (go to the clinic upon arrival to obtain a parking permit). To Minor Hall The University Eye Center is located on the Berkeley campus in Minor Hall, which is next to Wurster Hall and the Haas School of Business. You can either take the shuttle or walk down (follow the dotted line) to the clinic. A representative from the diabetes study will be waiting for you in the lobby of the eye center.
From Interstate Highway I-80 Take the University Avenue (Berkeley) exit. Drive east on University until it ends at Oxford. Turn left on Oxford. Turn right on Hearst. Turn right on Gayley Road. Soon after you pass the Greek Theater look for the School of Optometry's free parking lot on the left at the end of a large, fenced-in athletic field (Kleeberger Field). From Interstate Highway 13 or 24 Take the Berkeley exit and go straight (west) on Tunnel Road, which then becomes Ashby. Turn right on College Avenue. Turn right on Durant. Turn left on Piedmont. Immediately after you pass Memorial Stadium turn right into the School of Optometry's free parking lot. (You have gone too far if you pass a fenced-in athletic field on the right or you reach Hearst Street.) The parking attendant will direct you to the free shuttle that will take you down the hill to the clinic. From Interstate Highway 13 or 24 The campus is easily accessible by public transit.
